Water is the only natural substance that is found in all three physical states: liquid, solid, and gas. Every living thing on earth is made up of or needs water to exist. It is indeed essential and divine. Ancient traditions understood this and revered and honored water. In the Yoruba tradition she is called Yemoja. On this episode, I am joined by Iya Amma Mcken, a dedicated cultural singer, dancer and priestess of Yemoja, to talk about sacred waters and how it is represented by the feminine divinities.
